The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation and its affiliate, The Institute for the Study of Aging, have granted $51 million to 370 academic and biotechnology programs in 18 countries since 1998. Our funded scientists report significant progress since then, creating entirely new classes of drugs in development for AD, screening millions of compounds, identifying hundreds of leads, executing many patents and licenses, and entering clinical trials with several new drugs.
We continue to fund promising research, and invite scientists to apply for a grant and join other investigators funded by us who are working to find answers to AD and cognitive aging.
