Summary:

ABS-205 is a small organic compound developed by American Biogenetic Sciences, Inc. (ABS) a small biotechnology company based on Long Island, New York. ABS-205 has effects similar to nerve growth factor (NGF), and can promote new nerve cell growth. ABS-205 has been shown to improve memory in young animals and to preserve the loss of brain connections that occurs with increasing age. The studies will evaluate the effects of ABS-205 on memory in aged animals.
