Sixteenth Annual Fall Symposium & Luncheon

Sixteenth Annual Fall Symposium & Luncheon

On October 26, 2026, the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) will host our Sixteenth Annual Fall Symposium and Luncheon at The Pierre in New York City.

On this occasion, we will celebrate the scientific achievements of Dr. Randall Bateman, who will receive the 12th Melvin R. Goodes Prize. Dr. Bateman’s Alzheimer’s blood test has become the gold standard in the field, and we are proud to have supported this groundbreaking work.

We will present the Visionary Partner Award to Deborah Krulewitch in recognition of her decades of volunteer leadership and her extraordinary role in advancing the ADDF’s mission through her corporate and personal relationships.

We are also honored to present the Charles Evans Award to Dr. Howard Fillit, ADDF Chief Science Officer Emeritus, whose visionary leadership helped transform Alzheimer’s drug development. Under his scientific direction, the ADDF pioneered a biology-driven approach that expanded the field beyond amyloid to encompass the full complexity of the disease. This strategy has helped shape today’s therapeutic pipeline and contributed to milestones including the first Alzheimer’s PET scan and the first FDA-approved Alzheimer’s blood test, while the ADDF’s venture philanthropy model continues to accelerate promising innovations worldwide.
