Screening for trial candidates typically uses speech-based cognitive tests which could be conducted at large scale remotely in telephone settings. Recently speech analysis has become mature enough to automate such speech-based testing procedures and provide fine-grained features highly sensitive to early cognitive changes. 

PROSPECT-AD aims to scale up the use of novel predictive biomarkers extracted from speech using an ordinary telephone (or smartphone devices) to enable remote screening and monitoring of Alzheimer's disease (AD) subjects in preclinical stage.
