This study wants to evaluate how mitochondrial function and protein folding in the blood affects Alzheimer’s disease progression. These are biological factors which are altered in Alzheimer’s disease. We will use these measures as biomarkers in future clinical trials. Biomarkers are lab tests which tell us how someone is responding to a treatment or their risk for disease.
