We have recently published that genetically deleting a protein, JNK3, in a mouse model of AD dramatically lowered toxic A-beta peptide levels by 90%. Here, we have found a novel class of JNK3 inhibitors, and propose to test whether it is effective against A-beta mediated toxicity using three different AD mouse models. If they do, we hope to optimize the inhibitor for human purposes.
