IDENTIFYING CURRENT SOURCE DENSITY AND COHERENCE DEVIATIONS ON SLORETA FUNCTIONAL BRAIN MAPPING ACROSS MCI GROUPS (01)/AND WITHIN EARLY TO LATE AMYLOID POSITIVE MCI AMNESTIC ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE PATIENTS (02)

Treating Alzheimer's disease has proven to be a very challenging endeavor and over the past 100 years there has clearly been more failures than successes. Researchers have learned, however, some valuable lessons for future investigations from their efforts. Namely, the disease needs to be treated early and with multiple simultaneous treatment addressing various pathophysiological processes. This study is investigating early detection of AD by combining neurodiagnostic procedures. In particular we are exploring combing functional assessment of the cortex via neuropsychological examination and functional brain mapping in the resting state (Default Mode Network). One of the initial goals of treating AD is early and accurate detection.
