We have developed drugs that work like nerve growth factor. These drugs improve learning in mice that are deficient in nerve growth factor. We propose to extend our studies by testing our drug in a mouse model of Alzheimer's Disease that forms amyloid plaques. We also propose to obtain initial pharmacological data on the availability and metabolism of these drugs that will be important for their future clinical development.
