The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) has once again been chosen as an Official Charity Partner of the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon. The race will take place on Sunday, November 4, 2018.

“The ADDF is thrilled to be an official charity partner of the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon,” said Mark Roithmayr, CEO of the ADDF. “This is our fourth year as an official charity partner, and we expect our marathon team—Runners for Alzheimer’s Research—to be bigger and better than ever. Last year, our amazing runners raised over $100,000 for lifesaving research. We look forward to supporting this year’s team as they race toward the iconic finish line in support of a cure for Alzheimer’s.”

More than 350 official charity partners will be part of the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon, providing thousands the opportunity to run in the world’s most popular marathon. The ADDF is now accepting applications for those interested in joining our team. The mission of the ADDF is to rapidly accelerate the discovery of drugs to prevent and treat Alzheimer's disease. Funds raised by its runners will support the most promising, innovative Alzheimer’s research worldwide.

“We are proud to welcome the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation to our official charity partner program for the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon,” said Christine Burke, vice president of runner products and services for New York Road Runners. “Participants in our official charity partner program are able to reach their goal of running 26.2 miles across New York City while directly impacting causes that are important to them through their fundraising efforts. We are inspired by their commitment and wish them the best of luck as they begin their amazing journey to the TCS New York City Marathon.”
